An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join our team at Green Oval Garage specialising in servicing and repairing premium Land Rover & Jaguar vehicles as a Vehicle Technician.We have two branches, one in Leeds near the Ikea and one at Wetherby, Thorp Arch Industrial Estate. Not only do we notice the capabilities of our employees, but also their potential to progress in their career, and we take great pride investing in our people.In return for your commitment to us, we'll offer you:* An industry leading package* A competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.* 33 days of annual leave (including bank holidays), holidays run Jan - Dec.* Enhanced Maternity/Paternity/Adoption leave options* Excellent Pension scheme* Cycle to work scheme* Manufacturer training through the JLR academy and other 3rd party training.Working with us as a Vehicle Technician you will:* Perform all work assigned is a timely manner and to the Company and Manufacturer standards.* Maintain a high level of competence for the work to be undertaken by undergoing on-site training.* Operate all equipment and carry out duties in a safe manner.* Maintain equipment, protective clothing and work areas in a clean, tidy and safe condition* Advise Workshop Supervisor if additional work is required on a vehicle and seek their assistance and authority in the rectification of faults.* Ensure the company image of professionalism and quality of service is maintained when dealing with customers.* Carry out any other duties if required.Applicants need to have:* A qualification of at least NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.* Modern Jaguar Land Rover experience is advantageous but not essential.* Preferably have experience of a main dealer / specialist environment.* A clean driving license* Own hand and power tools (Specialist tools are provided).
